What's new on Equ'un?

The "Calendar & Availability" tab of a season now opens on a timeline covering the whole season or a three-month window around today. Availability periods, unavailabilities and bookings sit on the same axis, with an occupancy strip giving, week by week, the number of mares hosted on the busiest day.

A coverage gap, that is a stretch of the season no period covers, stands out immediately and can be clicked to create the missing period with its dates already filled in. Clicking a day opens the "That day" panel under the timeline, with the periods in progress, the places left and the mares present. On mobile, the timeline gives way to a month-by-month list.

Each card of the My stallions page now shows the season that matters today: its dates, the number of offers and the pending requests. A main button leads straight to it, whether to manage the current season, close it or create the next one. Occasional actions are grouped in the card menu.

A new Seasons tab gathers all the seasons of a stallion, and a "First steps" banner guides the owner who has not opened any season yet.

A listing can now carry its own breeding terms: the methods offered, such as in-hand covering or fresh semen insemination, each with an optional price before tax and its conditions. A method switched on without a price shows as "Price on request".

These prices appear on the public listing when the stallion has no open season, for instance between two seasons. As soon as a season opens, its own pricing takes over. They are entered at the "Breeding terms" step of the listing form.

A new free tool joins the Equ'un tools: the foaling date calculator. Give the covering date, that is the date of the mating, or the ovulation date when your vet has confirmed it. The tool then estimates the expected foaling date, the period during which the birth is normally awaited and the point beyond which it is better to ask a vet for advice.

The early ultrasound scans and the main milestones of the pregnancy are dated automatically too.

An age filter now narrows the search to an age range, up to 25 and over. Age is worked out with the equine calendar convention: the current year minus the year of birth.

Anyone can now run a simulation, as often as they like. The monthly limits that used to depend on the subscription plan have been removed, and the public version of the tool records none of your entries.

The tools open to everyone are now gathered in one place. No account and no sign-up is needed to use them.

Each tool is available in French and in English, with its own address in each language, so that it can be shared simply.

The family tree now reads at a glance, with no dragging and no zooming. You choose how many generations to show, so you find your stallion's ancestors quickly.

The pedigree can also be shared easily with interested mare owners.

No DNA test needed any more: describe how your horses look and the simulator does the rest. When a doubt remains, it gives a range instead of a misleading figure. You can try out possible crosses quickly and give mare owners honest results.

Mare owners can see the tests and vaccines declared for the season, each with a plain verdict and its date. It shows the care you take of your stallion's health, and it makes the decision easier for the other side.

A listing gathers the stallion's photos and videos, his family tree, his disciplines, his genetic tests, his fertility figures and the conditions of every breeding offer. It comes with a public page you can share outside Equ'un, with people who do not have an account.

Filter the listings by discipline, by breed or by region, see on a map where the stallions stand, and save a search you run often so you can pick it up again in one click.

Your conversations with owners happen on the platform, and every request you send or receive is followed from a single dashboard. Everything stays in one place and no request slips through.

The calendar gathers your availability periods, your capacity management and your booking requests. You announce your availability once and for all, without another round of messages.

The booklet records every breeding, from insemination to foaling, and produces the related paperwork in a few clicks. Alongside it, the statistics and fertility dashboards summarise your activity, and the season export feeds your accounting.
